PARARCHYTAS Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1895: 76 (also 1895: 612). Type species: Tachina decisa Walker, 1849, by monotypy.

– Pararchytas apache Woodley, 1998: 414. Type data: holotype male (CNC). Type locality: USA, New Mexico, Grant County, Cherry Creek campground, 14 miles north of Silver City, 7400 feet.


decisus (Walker, 1849).– Alaska, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Washington, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming, California, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Mexico, Texas, Ontario, Michigan, Québec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania (Woodley, 1998).
– Tachina decisa Walker, 1849: 715. Type data: lectotype male (BMNH), by designation of Woodley, 1998: 410 (mention of "Ht" from St. Martin's Falls, Ontario by Townsend, 1939a: 95, is not regarded as a lectotype fixation because no specimen from that locality now exists in the type series and probably did not in Townsend's time). Type locality: North America.
