Genus Erynniopsis Townsend, 1926

ERYNNIOPSIS Townsend, 1926: 30. Type species: Erynniopsis rondanii Townsend, 1926 (= Erynnia antennata Rondani, 1861), by original designation.


antennata (Rondani, 1861).– Europe; introduced and established in California, Arizona (Reinhard, 1968).
– Erynnia antennata Rondani, 1861a: 109. Type data: holotype male [not female as published] (MZF). Type locality: Italy, Parma.
– Hyperecteina extricata West, 1925: 127. Type data: holotype female (CUI). Type locality: USA, New York, Albany.
– Erynniopsis rondanii Townsend, 1926: 30 (named for Erynnia nitida of Rondani, 1861, not Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830). Type data: holotype female ("in Florence?" [MZF] according to Townsend, 1932: 57). Type locality: Italy, Parma.
