OCYPTERODES Townsend, 1916a: 631. Type species: Ocyptera fumipennis Bigot, 1878, by fixation of O'Hara & Wood (2004: 216) under Article 70.3.2 of ICZN (1999), misidentified as Ocyptera euchenor Walker, 1849, in the original designation by Townsend (1916a).
