BELIDA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863b: 45. Type species: Belida flavipalpis Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863 (= Tachina angelicae Meigen, 1824), by monotypy [Palearctic].
APOROTACHINA Meade, 1894: 109 (first introduced as a subgenus of Tachina Meigen, 1803). Type species: Tachina angelicae Meigen, 1824, by subsequent designation of Coquillett, 1910b: 509 [Palearctic].
NEOTHELAIRA Townsend, 1912b: 109. Type species: Neothelaira dexina Townsend, 1912, by original designation.
AULICOMYIA Reinhard, 1943b: 80. Type species: Aulicomyia invulnerata Reinhard, 1943 (= Neothelaira dexina Townsend, 1912), by original designation.


chaetoneura (Coquillett, 1897).– British Columbia and Alberta, south to California and Colorado, also Michigan to Maine and Connecticut (S&A, 1965), Alaska, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Manitoba to Nova Scotia, also Ohio, North Carolina (CNC), West Virginia (WVU).
– Masicera chaetoneura Coquillett, 1897: 115. Type data: holotype female (USNM). Type locality: USA, New Hampshire, White Mountains.
