Genus ATHRYCIA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830

ATHRYCIA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 111 (also subsequently spelled Athricia, unjustified emendation). Type species: Athrycia erythrocera Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 (= Tachina trepida Meigen, 1824), by subsequent designation of Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863a: 830 [Palearctic].

cinerea (Coquillett, 1895).– British Columbia to Colorado to Illinois to Massachusetts, south to Mexico (Chihuahua) and Virginia (S&A, 1965), Yukon, Northwest Territories, Alberta to New Brunswick (CNC).
– Paraplagia cinerea Coquillett, 1895d: 101. Type data: syntypes, 1 male and 2 females (USNM). Type localities: USA, northern Illinois and District of Columbia.
