Current Council Members

The Council is composed of up to 15 dipterists who represent as diverse a group as possible both geographically and by dipterological discipline. Election and duties of Council members are detailed in the Constitution of the International Congresses of Dipterology.

The last meetings of the Council were held during the 7th International Congress of Dipterology in San José, Costa Rica, 8–13 August 2010. The next meeting of the Council will take place during the XXIV International Congress of Entomology, to be held in Daegu, South Korea, 19–25 August 2012.
