Current Council Members

The Council is composed of up to 15 dipterists who represent as diverse a group as possible both geographically and by dipterological discipline. Election and duties of Council members are detailed in the Constitution of the International Congresses of Dipterology.

The last meetings of the Council were held during the 6th International Congress of Dipterology in Fukuoka, Japan, 23-28 September 2006. The next meeting of the Council will take place during the XXIII International Congress of Entomology, to be held in Durban, South Africa, 6-12 July 2008.
